Hart Godden is now in his fourth season as Artistic Director of the Regina Philharmonic Chorus.  Hart is the founder and Artistic Director of the Halcyon Chamber Choir, and Director of Music and Organist of Knox-Metropolitan United Church.  As well, he is the organ instructor for the University of Regina Department of Music, and teaches piano, pipe organ, theory and harmony.
As a performer, Hart is often heard in concert with Tara Semple, flute,  as the duo High F'lutin'. He is also a pipe organ technician for Pipeworks of Calgary.

Hart grew up in Saskatoon where he completed ARCT, LTCL, and B.Mus.(University of Saskatchewan) degrees in piano performance.  He then secured a M.Mus. in conducting and a B.Ed., both from the University of Regina.  His studies in pipe organ led to the degree of ARCCO from the Royal Canadian College of Organists.  His work and studies have led Hart to London, Saskatoon, Abernethy and Regina.  He has conducted numerous groups including the University Chorus and the Prairie Consort Chamber Choir in Saskatoon, and as Choral Director at Campbell Collegiate, he managed eight choirs.
