Deadline for Applications:    November 1st

NOTE:    We do need to know in advance if you are joining us and approximate numbers as we need to order the toques.  We would appreciate knowing initial numbers by October 15th.  We also need a mailing address to send you the music.

 

In 1995 the Saskatchewan Grey Cup Marching Band had 350 participants.

The Guinness Book of Records is 517 for a marching band.

Can we break this record????

 

Parade Day Schedule 

Music:               Green is the Color, On Wisconsin, Beer Barrel Polka

Uniform:            Grey Cup toques (provided)

  Football/Hockey Jersey’s (everyone is asked to bring one if possible)

                          Black or dark pants & shoes is preferred, however dress for the weather

                          Black or dark gloves

Equipment:        Bring own drums, cymbals, color guard poles etc.

Note:   If you require equipment, please advise asap, so we can see if we can borrow some for you.

 

  7:30 am               Arrive at the Lions Music Centre – 2272 Pasqua Street

  7:30 – 8:00          Make sure everyone has equipment, jersey etc.

  8:00 am               Marching / Music rehearsal

  9:30 am               Coffee, juice, donuts etc., load buses

10:00 am               Depart for the Parade  (Bands are to be in place by 10:15 am)

11:30 am               Parade   (approximately 1 hour long)

   ???                     Possible performances downtown

  1:30 pm               Lunch at the Music Centre
